**Photography has been my** [**personal path through adversity**](https://www.digest.andymarshall.co/my-genius-loci-digest-journey/)**, helping me overcome anxiety and depression, and has opened the door to a fulfilling new career.**

**In challenging times like the pandemic and the cost of living crisis, the landscape for a specialist photographer has changed dramatically.**

Rather than sitting back during these tough times, I’ve worked hard to find new ways to support my work as a creative. Travelling in my van has become a personal pilgrimage, allowing me to explore the spirit of place and also give something back to the community via [Member Powered Photography](https://www.digest.andymarshall.co/member-funded-photography-can-you-help-me-achieve-my-goal/) \- free photography for historic sites that can’t afford professional media.
