As I sketched, the light and atmosphere of the ancient church filled my senses, transforming into this artwork. *'As I layer the sketch with colour, I become utterly absorbed in the space. It’s a feeling akin to hovering within the light. It feels as though the light is being drawn into my eyes, coursing through my arm, and flowing onto the page.
