St. Anno's hosts a remarkable Rood screen that is worth the visit in itself. Full of intricate carving with medieval and later restored work.

The Janus can be found near to the altar - walk through the rood and look up at the ceiling bosses. The Janus springs from pagan symbolism and often symbolises change or the changing of the year. I love this syncretic element of the church.
