**The Chapter House is one of the most evocative spaces that I have ever had the chance to photograph. Entering the space invokes a sense of awe and connection - head there first thing, before visiting the rest of the cathedral.**

Lincoln’s Chapter House (a place for administration) turns structure into emotion. From the central pier, stone ribs rise and unfold like the branches of a great tree, drawing the eye upwards and the spirit outwards. Nothing is merely decorative: this organic geometry carries weight, gathers light and gives utility the unmistakable shape of joy.
