The Genius Loci Digest · Free every Friday

Find a little
perspective
in a hurried world.

Some places help us see beyond the pressures of the present. Each Friday, I share photographs, art and stories that offer a different view - of the places around us, and our lives within them.

“A delicious respite in these uncertain times.”

Looking again.
Seeing new possibilities.

At a difficult turning point in my life, photography helped me find my way back into the world. An old doorway, the changing light, the companionship of a place: things I might once have passed by began to open up new possibilities.

That is the kind of perspective I want to share: not looking away from the world, but finding more within it. A change of light. A story held in stone. A reminder that our present moment is part of something larger. Along the way, we find rootedness, perspective and ways of living well in complex times.
