Over the years, encounters with places have helped me rediscover joy and find reasons for hope. Each Friday, the Digest shares those discoveries through photographs, art and stories - and ways of noticing more in your own surroundings.
“A delicious respite in these uncertain times.”

Rediscovering joy.
Finding reasons for hope.
At a difficult turning point in my life, photography helped me find my way back into the world. An old doorway, the changing light, the companionship of a place: things I might once have passed by began to open up new possibilities.
Light falling across a worn step. The touch of a craftsperson in wood or stone. A moment of beauty in an ordinary day. These encounters have helped me rediscover joy, even when life has felt difficult. Through the Digest, I share what I find - invitations to look again, feel more connected and draw on rootedness, perspective and ways of living well in complex times.
