In my words.
This print grew from more than 300 hours of travel, photography and patient work with the images. Across Britain, I sought out doorways in raking sunlight, gathering centuries of architecture into one composition.
Look closely and the ordinary becomes remarkable: a fanlight, a worn threshold, the shape of a door clasp. Together, these small details speak of the skill, imagination and lives that give a place its character.
There’s a little of how I see the world in every photograph and artwork here. I’d love you to find one that feels at home with you.
