I'm travelling in Woody on the way to a photoshoot beyond London, but I make a detour to see a place that I've been wanting to see for a very long time.
Be there: the Anglo-Saxon Wirksworth Stone in glorious VR.
Situated in the north aisle of St. Mary's Parish Church the Wirksworth stone is dated to around 800AD.

No matter how evocative the tower is at St. Peter, I think it is the simplicity of the earlier nave that appeals to me the most.
