In Wells 9, each encounter has room to hold your attention. In Wells 100, individual moments begin to produce a kind of rhythm. With Wells 1000, we move into the realm of colour shift - blue shadow, yellow ochre, gold and ember.
As a photographer I’ve always been fascinated by change in scale and perception. The place stays the same, yet the way we see it keeps moving. There’s hope in that. The whole gives meaning to each small image, and each small image carries the whole place within it.
