Own a Piece of History: The Face from The Prior's Door, Ely Cathedral - ink and watercolour original approximately A4 size
A chance to own a limited edition print of the iconic church of the shrine at St. Mellangell, Wales.
The church lies deep within the bucolic landscape of a glacial valley, rising from the flat valley floor like an erratic, shaped by history, circumstance, and time.
As I stand but a few inches away from the recumbent knight, I can’t help but reflect on the vast distance of time that separates us.
What I didn’t anticipate was how much Rawtenstall would give back. Through my sketches, I’ve made new friends and met remarkable people with stories that have enriched my understanding of the town and, in turn, myself.
My story, now unfolding, was filled with renewed perspective and purpose.
And so, in a café in Howden, through the portal of the final page of my little black sketchbook, I begin to see the world as it truly is.
